At Bringing Children Hope we provide short-term, temporary care for children whose parents are experiencing difficulties. Our Care Families welcome your child or children into their own home and care for them as part of the family while you are resolving difficulties you may be facing.
Our Care Families are trained in caring for children and have gone through complete background checks and fingerprinting. We review references on each family and conduct a home evaluation prior to them caring for children. We focus on nurturing, loving care that will help your child enjoy a safe and comfortable visit.
Each Care Family has a profile so you can learn about the family into whose care you will entrust your child. While your child is in their home, BCH staff will visit your child and the family regularly. We also want you to call your child daily if possible and even arrange play dates so you can keep the connection to your child strong during this temporary separation.
Our goal is for you and your child to reunite as soon as possible, and our Family Advocates will assist you with connections to resources, advice, and encouragement as you choose.
Reunification is our goal! We want you and your child back together as a family as soon as possible!
There is no charge to you for using our services. We are funded by private donations so that we can bring hope to your family.
